Happy July 4th!

Happy 4th of July!

Since I couldn't find Aidyn a "masculine" outfit for today, I found these gym shorts at BabysRus a few weeks ago. We just put a white shirt on with them. I tried getting his picture this morning before he left with my parents (while Ben and I worked on the yard and cleaning house). I didn't really like the laying down picture, so we tried taking one of him sitting on the couch. But, then you couldn't see the stars on his shorts.

My mom insisted on sitting him on the arm of the couch and just holding him, haha. So here are our two pictures.

Aidyn spent the day with my parents while Ben and I worked around the house. I LOVE a clean house! It just makes me feel sooo much better! This evening we'll be going to Ben's parents for dinner and then back home.

This will be the first year I haven't viewed a fireworks show and/or played with them myself at my parents' house. But since Aidyn is usually in bed around 9:30pm and the fireworks start at 10pm, we will be at home this year. Hopefully next year he'll enjoy them...we'll see.
